Atheistic materialists and Theists

There has always been a tug of war between Atheism and theism, Atheists always have arguments against God, and theist have arguments for God. The oldest known Atheistic materialistic school of thought is Charvaka. Unfortunately we do not have any record of their original writings but there thought is completely outlined in the Madhava's Sarvadarshanasamgraha. The only difference between the atheists of today and charvakas is that the Charvakas do not accept any thing beyond the senses. However today's atheists are not that different but they are actually kind of forced to accept things beyond the senses otherwise they cannot accept today's scientific knowledge. The argument is same whether it be old or new, awareness of consciousness is nothing but a property of the body nothing more than that. Also scientific research also seems to point to this, many scientists even say that consciousness is located in space and time. Hence there is no soul or God. Spirituality,religion and so on are baseless and meaningless as per them. There are many arguments made against this and then there are counter arguments which keep going on . However one thing is worth noticing , just as the fanatic is aggressive so is the atheist or materialist. If the materialist is not aggressive we will not see communists being aggressive. A person who is always willing to learn and know more things will never be aggressive, this aggressive attitude shows that both are set to prove out their own theories , the fanatic believer is going out to prove his own point so is the materialist. If the materialist knows something to be true he or she need not be aggressive since it is natural for people to be ignorant and die with ignorance  , so he need not bother even if some one argues against it he need not bother him, he can just say ok that is the way you think. So is the case with a believer, but since this is not the case. Since both the atheist and theist are not willing to say I do not know , both are unwilling to explore always saying I am right hence both materialists and atheists are believers in their own theories. Set out to convert the other person to their theories. So I conclude that materialists are also believers.
